Penn State's Garrett Taylor celebrates his team's victory over Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game Saturday night.

The Associated Press

For the most part, conference championships played out true to form and that led to relatively few changes on my ballot for this week's Associated Press college football poll.

I'm sticking with Alabama at the top and everybody else.

Ohio State is still at number two and I did flip Washington and Clemson in the third and fourth sports this week following a dominant Huskies performance over Colorado in the Pac-12 title game and the Tigers' seven-point win over a pedestrian Virginia Tech team in the ACC final.

I'm sticking with Oklahoma at five, did move Penn State up to sixth following its win over Wisconsin, kept Michigan at seventh and dropped Wisconsin two spots to eighth. West Virginia and Western Michigan round out my top 10.

The majority of the movement on my ballot is in the bottom half where Florida, Navy and Virginia Tech, ranked 17th through 19th last week, all lost.

I moved three next teams in order, Iowa, Pitt and Auburn, all up three spots.

My only newcomer this week is 10-3 Temple, moving in at 24 and replacing Navy, which fell to 9-3 with its 34-10 loss to the Owls.

Here is my ballot for this week's poll:

7. Michigan
