Winners of eight straight, Camanche clobbered North Cedar (82-50) and Durant (88-60) last week. The Indians have four players averaging double figures, led by Dakota Soenksen (17.7 ppg.) and Dylan Hundley (17.1 ppg.)

2. Annawan (12-2, LW: 1)

Owen Landwehr scored 19 points as Annawan clipped Byron 52-46 on Saturday. The Braves, ranked eighth in Illinois Class 1A, finished seventh in the small-school division at the State Farm Holiday Classic.

3. Northeast (8-1, LW: 3)

After a 21-day layoff, the Rebels returned to action with a 68-63 road win against West Branch. Zach Parson had a team-high 20 points while Luke Empen contributed 19 points and 12 rebounds.

4. Rockridge (9-4, LW: 4)

Carson Frakes tallied 24 points and Gentry Whiteman had 23 as Rockridge buried 11 3-point shots to roll past Erie 72-35 last Friday night. It was a nice rebound after two losses at the Macomb tournament.

5. Clinton Prince of Peace (7-3, LW: 5)

Senior Seth Moeller is averaging almost 26 points per game, fifth best among Iowa Class 1A players. The Irish opened the post-Christmas scheduled with a 15-point win against Easton Valley.
