Rock Island sophomore Brea Beal earned first-team all-state honors from the Associated Press Thursday, her second all-state selection after earning second-team honors last year.

Beal was the leading point-getter on the team, earning 54 points after putting together a year where she averaged 21.5 points and 9.5 rebounds a game, taking the Rocks to a 31-2 record and a sectional final game against Edwardsville.
