Muscatine swept the boys and girls bowler of the year awards from the Mississippi Athletic Conference.
The Muskies' Ragan Carey was named the top girls bowler while Tyler Harris earned the distinction for boys.
Muscatine, the girls state runner-up in Class 3A, had four of the six bowlers on the top team. Joining Carey were Gabi Evans, Emily Payne and Jaelynn Klein. Davenport Central's Donna Diggs and Amber Brewer filled out the first team.
Carey had a 203.7 game average, best among MAC bowlers. She had a high game of 266 and finished among the top 10 at the state tournament.
On the boys side, Davenport North had three first-team selections in seniors Tyler McCumsey and Nate McMullen along with junior Brant Carter.
Harris was sixth in the state with a 223.4 per game average. He had a 532 two-game series at one point this season.
North Scott junior Brock Larson and Pleasant Valley junior Cory LaBarge also were on the first team.
Central's Wendy Allen (girls) and Burlington's Scott Mason (boys) were the MAC coaches of the year.
