Assumption 5, Central 1: Sully Kelly and Carly King each scored a pair of goals for the Knights as Assumption won the conference opener over Davenport Central at the St. Vincent Center.
Molly Gervase scored the other goal for Assumption (2-0), while Kaighin Frost scored for the Blue Devils.
Bettendorf 5, North 0: Alina Steffen netted a hat trick to lead the Bulldogs (1-0) to a MAC-opening win over the Wildcats (0-1). Alli Whitaker and Grace McKenzie also scored to lead Bettendorf.
Olivia Jackson and Kaatlyn Petersen combined for the shutout.
North Scott 4, Clinton 0: Karli Rucker scored two goals while Adelyn Carmody and Helena Neill also added markers for the Lancers (1-0) in their opener over Clinton. Kendsey Mickey and Heather Hoeger combined to post the shutout, making two saves.
Muscatine 10, Davenport West 0: Abby Estabrook scored four goals, one of five different Muskies (1-0) to score to open up the season over Davenport West.
Iowa City West 3, Pleasant Valley 1: Emma Cooper netted a hat trick as the Women of Troy won a rematch of last year's 3A state quarterfinal match. Ellie Scranton scored the lone goal for PV (0-1).
Alleman 4, Rock Island 0: Dora Cacari and Taylor Carter each notched a goal and an assist to lead the Pioneers (3-3-0, 1-0 Western Big Six) to a win over Rock Island.
The Pioneers led 1-0 before scoring three goals in a 16-minute span to take control of the match.
Quincy 10, Galesburg 0: The Blue Devils opened up the Western Big Six season with a resounding win over Galesburg.
Bettendorf 3, North 0: Zach Elias, Blake Rollinger and Parker Beck scored goals as the Class 3A 12th-ranked Bulldogs won their opener. Sean Burke had 15 saves for the Wildcats.
Burlington 1, PV 0: Burlington upset Class 3A sixth-ranked Pleasant Valley in penalty kicks in the conference opener in Burlington. The Spartans (4-1) out-shot the Grayhounds 15-2 but couldn't get one through.
Burlington won the shootout, 4-2.
Muscatine 7, Davenport West 0: Hector Martinez tallied two goals and an assist as Muscatine picked up its first victory of the season at home.
The Muskies led 3-0 at intermission.
North Scott 2, Clinton 0: Riley Thomas and Caleb Rheingans each scored as North Scott won its league opener. Aaron Bryant had six saves in goal.
