The Iowa Wild defeated the Milwaukee Admirals 2-1 in overtime in an American Hockey League exhibition game played Friday at iWireless Center in Moline.

Zach Phillips' power-play goal 4 minutes into the extra period gave the Wild the victory.

The Wild fell behind early when Admirals defenseman Scott Ford fired a rebound into the back of the net just 1:45 into the game.

The Wild, despite outshooting the Admirals, didn't deliver the equalizer until center Taylor Matson was able to find the back of the net with just over 4 minutes remaining in the third period.
