Nick Brandt stands on the cement floor of what once was a two-car garage behind his home in Naplate, Illinois, on Wednesday. Brandt's garage housed a number of motorcycles and his workshop. He was working to clean up and salvage what valuables could be hauled away before a 6 p.m. curfew. Tuesday's tornado ripped through neighboring towns in LaSalle County. According to locals, the tornado passed through the area around 5 p.m. lasting just a matter of seconds.
