Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday, Davenport police said Monday.

Police, fire and Medic EMS responded at 9:47 p.m. to East 4th Street and River Drive.

Police say the motorcycle was traveling west on River Drive in the right lane and struck a the west curb of the intersection, losing control.

The driver, a man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, His passenger, a woman, sustained serious life-threatening injuries, according to police.

No other information was released Monday morning. The investigation is being conducted by the police department's traffic safety unit.
