A good Friday morning to all. You’re waking up to 56 degrees and fair skies. It’s going to get a lot cooler in the Quad-Cities with freezing temperatures possible tonight and likely Saturday.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a slight chance of showers before 10 a.m., then a slight chance of showers after 1 p.m. Skies will be partly sunny with a high temperature near 52 degrees. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 32 degrees.

Temperatures will be drop into the 20s in many locations of the Quad-City region Saturday night.
