DuTracCommunityCreditUnion’s Mini-GrantGiveawayWinners

PeopleHelpingPeople
Education is at the heart of the credit union
philosophy and a key resource and differentiator
in the marketplace for DuTrac. Since 1946, DuTrac
has offered educational resources to its members
and the communities we serve with the sole goal
of helping to build knowledge and the desire to
learn in students… especially when it comes to
financial literacy. Placing this resource in action,
DuTrac made available 20 – $200 mini-grants to a
record 900 nominated area teachers with a goal
to enhance the learning experience for students
by providing needed school supplies, equipment
or innovative educational expenses. Teachers
will be using the funds for items such as yoga
eye pillows, books, reading cushions, sensory
and figit items, science supplies, a new character

DuTrac believes that a well-resourced classroom
can ignite within students a lifelong desire
to learn and achieve. It’s a small gesture we
hope states to area educators, “we value and
respect what you do. Your role is critical to every
person’s future.” Without expectation of a return,
providing no-cost education and educational
resources is what every consumer will obtain
and should expect when becoming a member or
when interacting with DuTrac. Education builds
knowledge and knowledge is one way DuTrac
builds and grows stronger leaders and stronger
communities.
