A line of prospective employers sit at their booths during the Quad-City Times Career Fair in September 2017. The next career fair will be held Tuesday.

Job seekers will have the chance to meet with more than 40 area employers Tuesday at the Quad-City Times Career Fair.

The event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Davenport RiverCenter. Admission is free.

"This is a great opportunity to bring good companies and good candidates together," said Janet Johnson, Times advertising director.

Job-hunters are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and dress professionally to meet with company representatives and hiring managers.

The career fair is sponsored by The Quad-City Times, iHeartRadio and Eastern Iowa Community Colleges.
