The Transportation Security Administration will host an in-person application site for the TSA Pre✓ program, an expedited airport screening program, at the Quad-City International Airport terminal in Moline.

The Pop-Up center will be on-site from Feb. 26-March 2 in the west end of the airport terminal. Hours will be 8 a.m. to noon and 1–5 p.m.

But to begin the application process, applicants must visit to fill out the application before arriving at the airport.

TSA Pre✓ allows travelers to leave on their shoes as well as light outerwear and belt, keep their laptop in its case, and their liquids/gels bag in a carry-on as they pass through select screening lanes.

After pre-enrolling online, applicants must visit an application center to provide biographic information (name, date of birth, address, etc.), fingerprints, payment and valid identification and citizenship/immigration documentation. The application fee is $85 for a five-year membership.

"Hosting a pre-check application center greatly increases the availability of TSA Pre✓ benefits to a broader population of travelers in the area," said John Hursey, TSA Federal Security Director for Downstate Illinois. "TSA Pre✓ is part of our ongoing commitment to provide the most effective security in the most efficient way possible."

Once approved, travelers receive a Known Traveler Number to use the TSA Pre✓ lanes at security checkpoints at more than 200 participating airports and on 42 airlines.

Applicants unable to visit the Quad-City airport's pop-up center can visit to begin the application process and schedule a visit to a TSA's Pre✓ application center. A list of applications centers can be found at
