A total of 26 non-profits remain in the running to win a $15,000 office makeover in RK Dixon and Premier’s eighth annual Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest.

The public is invited to participate in a second round of online voting. The 15 organizations with the most votes will be awarded a prize to make their office run more efficiently from Premier and RK Dixon. The final round of online voting ends at 5 p.m. Friday.

After more than 47,400 votes were cast across the Midwest, six of the 26 finalists are from the Quad-City area. They are Mercer County Family Crisis Center, Legion-Aires Drum & Bugle Corps, McKinley Middle School/PTA,  Honor Flight of the Quad-Cities Inc., NAMI Greater Mississippi Valley and Lutheran Services in Iowa. The contest provides non-profit organizations in more than 115 counties across Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin the opportunity to win the $15,000 office technology makeover. The first runner-up will receive a printer valued at up to $10,000 and the three remaining winners will receive a printer valued at up to $5,000. In addition, 10 runners-up will receive printers valued at up to $1,000.
