Why was student nominated? "Nicholas was nominated because he has grown so much since the beginning of last year," said third-grade teacher Dana Nichols. "He always greets me as he passes me in the hall every morning, and he does it with a huge smile!
"He was a hard worker last year and continues to be this year as well, which has been so beneficial in his success."
"When Nicholas Peterson smiles at you, you can't help but smile back," said fourth-grade teacher Beth Waller. "He is compassionate with his classmates and is always willing to work with others. Nicholas has been working hard on persevering in his academics, and doing his best, and it is paying off. He is always willing to lend a helping hand in the classroom."
