1. Bob Schneider at The Stardust 

Bob Schneider, the singer/songwriter from Austin, Texas, and Emma Jayne are slated to play the first-ever show at The Stardust, the new multi-purpose venue at 218 Iowa St., Davenport, on Saturday. Doors open at 6 p.m. and music starts at 7 p.m. For tickets, $15, visit moellernights.com.

2. Post Animal at Daytrotter 

The Daytrotter venue in downtown Davenport hasn't hosted a show since Halloween. On Friday, the venue is back with a show featuring Post Animal, psych rock band from Chicago, plus Slow Pulp and Condor & Jaybird. 3. Comedian Etta May 

See Etta May, the Kentucky-born comedian hailed as the "Polyester Princess," at 6 p.m. Thursday at Circa '21, 1828 3rd Ave., Rock Island. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7:15 p.m. with opener Donny Townsend, a Quad-City comic who won Circa's regional stand-up comedy competition. 4. Jerry Douglas at the Redstone Room

Jerry Douglas, a bluegrass musician from Lexington, Kentucky, is slated to perform this weekend with special guest Kendra Swanson at the Redstone Room, 129 N. Main St., Davenport. 5. Winter Live at Five 

This week's Winter Live@Five, the free concert series hosted by River Music Experience, features music by the Dani Lynne Howe Band. Music begins at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Redstone Room, 129 N. Main St., Davenport. Admission is free.

6. New show from Q-C Theatre Workshop 

The Q-C Theatre Workshop opens a three-week run of "Venues in Fur" this weekend. See the Tony Award-winning dark comedy at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the theater, 1730 Wilkes Ave., Davenport. Other show times are set for March 16-18 and 23-25.
