1. Hailey Whitters in Muscatine

Hailey Whitters, a country artist originally from Shueyville, Iowa, is playing a free show Friday at Boonie's On The Avenue, 214 Iowa Ave., Muscatine, Iowa. Whitters, who now lives in Nashville, released her debut album in 2015 and penned the song, "Happy People," a single for the popular group Little Big Town. 2. Holiday wine walk

Up to sample wine and check out local art? The artists of Bucktown Center for the Arts are hosting their annual Wine Walk on Friday at 225 E. 2nd St., Davenport. Admission is free. Attendees may purchase a hand-painted wine glass for $20 for wine tastings and light snacks. Other festivities include strolling carolers from the Black Hawk College Community Chorale. A percentage of wine glass sales will support the National Alliance on Mental Illness Greater Mississippi Valley. 5. Dueling pianos party 

The Speakeasy in downtown Rock Island is again hosting the Windy City Dueling Pianos, a popular piano act from Chicago. During the show, audience members can select songs, from a variety of genres. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Friday at the Circa '21 Speakeasy, 1818 3rd Ave., Rock Island. 6. 'Polar Express' pajama parties

This weekend, the Putnam Museum & Science Center is hosting a series of pajama parties centered around the holiday movie, "Polar Express" and activities at the museum, 1717 W. 12th St., Davenport. For adults, tickets cost $10 and include a souvenir ornament, hot chocolate and a seat in the movie theater.
