1. Lissie at Mercado 

Kick off your weekend with a free concert featuring Rock Island-born Elisabeth Maurus, known by her stage name Lissie. She is slated to perform on Friday during Mercado on Fifth, the open-air night market at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 12th Street in downtown Moline. 2. 'Moana' in the park

Grab a lawn chair or a blanket and get ready to watch "Moana" outside at Vander Veer Botanical Park, 215 W Central Park Ave, Davenport, for the next edition of the Movie in the Park series, presented by Davenport Parks and Recreation. Food trucks and kids activities will kick off at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The movie will start at dusk.

3. Free music outside RME 

It's your last chance to catch a Live@Five, the free outdoor concert series outside the River Music Experience, or RME, 129 N. Main St., Davenport. The final installment of the series features live music from the Velies at 5 p.m. in the RME courtyard. 

4. Michaela Anne at the Raccoon Motel 

The Nashville-based singer Michaela Anne will bring her classic country sound, infused with modern Americana elements, to Davenport this week. She'll perform at 8 p.m. Friday at the Triple Crown Whiskey Bar & Raccoon Motel, 304 E. 3rd St., Davenport. For tickets, $8-10, visit

5. Lederhosen 5k 

Lace up for the Lederson 5k and Oktoberfest post-race party this weekend. The 5k starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at Schwiebert Riverfront Park in downtown Rock Island. 6. Comedy showcase
