          Stephen Patterson and his wife, Nancy, are self-confessed horror movie nuts. "We love old films and old movies and old Frankenstein and werewolf stuff," said Patterson, who owns and operates Torment at Twelve Hundred, a "theatrical haunted attraction" southeast of Orion, Ill. "That's kind of how it started, and it got bigger each year."
