Emily Maren Fredericksen and Kraig David Liske were married in a picturesque outdoor wedding ceremony on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Fredericksen farm, Eldridge, with Pastor John Walters officiating. Following the ceremony an outdoor dinner and reception was held.
Parents of the couple are David and Jennifer Fredericksen, Eldridge, and Matt and Christie Liske, rural Donahue. Grandparents of the couple are Steve and Kathy Fredericksen, Robert and Linda Fullmer, Jerry and Penny Lundeen, Dorothy Marten, Bob and Barb Ferguson, the late Elmer Marten an the late Gerald Liske.
Abby and Claire Fredericksen, sisters of the bride, served as Maids of Honor. Kerrie Liske, sister of the groom, Chelsea Carroll, Meggie Kelly and Whitney Van Pelt, friends of the couple, were bridesmaids. The flower girls were Kenadi Chard and Sarah Prewitt, cousins of the couple.
Kurt and Kyle Liske served as their brother’s best men. Groomsmen were Evan Cole, Beau Schmitz, Casey Ficek and Taylor Heinrichs with ushers being Bubba Carter and Ryan Van De Casteele, all friends of the couple.
Sawyer Liske, the couple’s nephew, served as the ring bearer.
Personal attendant was Alex Horsman and the musicians were Alex and Bradley Rees, friends of the couple.
The bride is graduate of North Scott High School and earned a bachelor of arts degree from Iowa State University. Emily is employed at the Iowa Hospital Association in Des Moines as the Director of Health Policy Communications.
The groom also graduated from North Scott High School and Loras College in Dubuque, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree. Kraig is employed as a Competitive Intelligence Analyst at Bussinessolver in Des Moines.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon trip to Aruba and are residing in Des Moines, Iowa.
