St. Anne’s Church members Ed Coram, left, and Howard Killian invite people to join a St. Patrick’s Celebration planned March 9 in the church's Cleary Hall, 1705 6th St., East Moline.

St. Anne’s Church believes there’s a wee bit of Irish in everyone, and it will host a St. Patrick’s Celebration on March 9 in its Cleary Hall at 1705 6th St., East Moline.

Tickets will be sold at the door. The event begins with a catered corned beef dinner 5-7 p.m. for $14 a person. Hot dogs and chips also will be available for $4 each; desserts and beverages also will be sold.

The evening's entertainment features the Isle of Erin Irish Dancers from Peoria performing traditional Irish dances from 6-7 p.m. Erin Rockold, owner/instructor of the Isle of Erin Studio, is a certified Irish dance teacher whose students compete in the United States, Canada and Ireland.

The event is part of St. Anne’s "Year of Celebrations" marking the parish's centennial, with major events planned in July.
