Monarch Habitat Workshop

Winter Fishing Tournament

WHEN: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, March 3

WHERE: Rock Island Conservation Club, 2421 Big Island Road, Milan

DETAILS: This tournament is open to club members and their guests. Non-members also may join the club the morning of the event to participate. Registration costs $10. Competitors will fish on ice or from shore if there is open water. Go to for further details.

Guided Nature Hike

WHEN: 9-10 a.m. Saturday, March 3

WHERE: Nahant Marsh, 4220 Wapello Ave., Davenport

DETAILS: Participants can join a Naturalist for a guided hike along the trails at the Marsh. Hikes are offered on the first Saturday of the month and give visitors an opportunity to experience the environmental changes as the plants and wildlife adapt to the seasons. Suggested $5 donation. St. Patrick's Day Race
