Best Deer Photo Contest

DETAILS: At least three dozen successful hunters this season have submitted photos of themselves with their deer. Readers may vote for their favorite photo now through Jan. 17 at qctimes.com/deerphotocontest. The winning hunter will be featured Saturday, Jan. 20, in the Outdoors section of the Quad-City Times. Clock Tower/Eagle watching tours

Weather permitting, there also will be cross-country skiing at Palmer Hills Golf Course and ice skating at Frozen Landing. A shuttle service will stop at those spots and Crow Creek Park about every 15 minutes.
