The Quad-Cities' notorious truck-eating bridges claimed two more victims this morning.
The first incident occurred about 8:45 a.m. Arsenal and Davenport police responded to a semi stuck on the north end of the Government Bridge over the Mississippi River between Davenport and Arsenal Island in Rock Island.
The second incident occurred at the railroad bridge that crosses over Brady Street in downtown Davenport.
The railroad bridge over Harrison Street in downtown Davenport is another spot where unsuspecting truckers can damage their vehicles by not noticing or ignoring posted low clearance warnings.
