It's here: The 43rd edition of the Quad-City Times Bix 7 gets under way at 8 a.m.

It's too late to get in the race if you haven't signed up already, but you still can join the party. There's plenty of fun and action all along the course.

If you have registered but haven't picked up your race packet, you still can do that from 6:30-7:30 a.m. at the RiverCenter South Hall, 136 E. 3rd St., Davenport.

As for race time weather — It's going to be a beaut. Really.

Race time temperature is expected to be around 64 degrees under sunny skies with little chance of rain. The temperature is forecast to hit 70 before 10 a.m. and 75 by noon.

The high temperature for the day is expected to be around 80 with sunny skies all day.
