Try 3 months for $3

Davenport police made three arrests Saturday at NorthPark Mall after a fight broke out near the entrance of J.C. Penney.

Officers were called to the mall at 5:17 p.m. for a “large fight,” Sgt. Andrew Harris said.

Two off-duty officers were working at the mall when the fight broke out and 10 additional officers arrived at the scene.

Randi Camille Ross, 24, was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer, disorderly conduct and interfering with official acts, all misdemeanor offenses. Ross posted bail after nearly three hours in custody.

Quinton Arthur Lee Davis, 27, was charged with disorderly conduct and interference with official acts, both misdemeanor offenses.

Nikko Ross, 17, was charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer, interfering with official acts, both simple misdemeanors, and rioting, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Harris said officers used pepper spray to stop the fight.

Lakiah Crane, 16, went shopping at the mall Saturday with her cousins and said she witnessed the police break up the brawl.

“It’s kind of sad, but that’s Davenport,” Crane said. “They do it for the attention.”

Crane’s cousin Joslyn Johnson, 15, said the pepper spray made her eyes water.

“It literally burned,” she said.
