A Panorama Park woman was arrested early Wednesday in connection with two shootings Tuesday night.
Cari Justine Fuhs, 51, last known address in the 5700 block of Valley Drive, faces charges of intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison; going armed with intent, a Class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison; and carrying weapons, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by up to two years in prison.
Bond was set Wednesday at $10,000 cash or surety. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 19.
Scott County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Fuhs home at 9:41 p.m. Tuesday regarding a report of two stolen vehicles that had been taken from the residence.
Deputies say the caller was in their car in front of Fuhs’ residence waiting for deputies to arrive. The caller, who was with another person, said that Fuhs had left the residence and fired a handgun several times at them.
They fled the area and were stopped at the intersection of Park Avenue and Valley Drive when Fuhs pulled up behind them in a different vehicle and began to fire a gun at their vehicle, according to deputies.
A projectile was located in the vehicle. Deputies also found several spent shell casings at the intersection and spent casings located on the driveway just outside Fuhs’ residence, according to deputies.
Fuhs does not have a valid weapons permit, according to deputies.
Maj. Shawn Roth said deputies are still working on the case and it is unclear at this time who took possession of the vehicles that were reportedly stolen.
