The Rock Island Police Department is looking for a man accused of wounding another during a shooting.
Jamal Jefferson, 36, address unavailable, has been charged in a warrant with aggravated discharge of a firearm, according to a news release from the police department issued May 17. He was still being sought as of Friday morning.
The time and location of the shooting was not provided, but the release states that a gunshot was fired during a fight involving a number of people.
Afterward, a 36-year-old man with a gunshot to the abdomen arrived at an area hospital, the release states. The man had been treated and released from the hospital as of May 17.

Jefferson is about 6-feet-2-inches tall and 230 pounds, the release states.
If arrested, he will be held on $100,000 bail on the aggravated discharge of a firearm charge, the release states.
