Library asks local authors to submit e-books for checkout

Library asks local authors to submit e-books for checkout: The Scott County Library System is asking local authors to submit their e-book files to Biblioboard.

Bibiloboard will give local patrons access to check out e-books for free.

Authors can submit their e-books to the Biblioboard page through SELF-e from Library Journal. By submitting your indie-published books, authors can share them with patrons of Scott County Library and libraries throughout the state of Iowa. The best e-books, as chosen by Library Journal, will be included in a nationwide database of self-published e-books.

This free service is available to all indie authors, no matter which self-publishing service they use. All that is required is an engaging story and your e-book file.

Visit www.scottcountylibrary.org/digital for more information and look for the Biblioboard SELF-e link.
