Mediacom customers affected by an email outage over the weekend continued to have problems Sunday night.

According to Mediacom chat representative Jeanette Urboda, all customers using client email are affected by the company-wide issue.

“The good news is that our webmail is working fine,” she said Sunday night. The outage, Urboda said, officially posted Saturday, but it began last week.

Mediacom initially escalated the issue to its Tier 2 team, and now a higher-level team is addressing the problem, Urboda said.

“We have no specific date and time as to when it will be fixed, but we are doing our best to fix it as soon as possible,” Urboda said.

According to the company's website, Mediacom serves more than 1,500 communities in 22 states throughout the country. Its services include digital cable TV, high-speed Internet and phone service.
