Did you see snow falling in the Quad-Cities this morning? No, it wasn't your eyes. Fortunately those snowflakes didn't stick.
The official snowfall for the 1 p.m. observation in the Q-C will be recorded as a trace, according to the National Weather Service of the Quad-Cities.
Now, here's the afternoon forecast from the National Weather Service.
It will be cloudy with a high near 44 degrees.
There's a chance of patchy frost after midnight around the region. Skies will be partly cloudy with a low around 35 degrees.
Saturday there's the possibility of patchy frost before 8 a.m. Otherwise skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 52 degrees. South winds will gust as high as 20 mph.
The Mississippi, Rock, Wapsipinicon, Cedar and Iowa rivers are currently under flood warnings until further notice.
