DIXON, Iowa — Diane Marie Waters, matriarch of the Waters clan, left hand-in-hand with her Lord Feb. 21, 2017.

A Celebration of Life will be 3 p.m. Feb. 25 at Dixon American Legion.

Diane is survived by Frank Bickel; daughters Lori, spouse Joe Needom, Michele Templeton, Angie, spouse Doug (Bonar) Miller, Erin, spouse Jim McKinney, sons Dan Bickel, fiance Angie Zicco, Andy and Navil Bickel; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild; siblings, Paulette, Dale, Gary, Wayne, Gerald and Tom Waters.

Diane was preceded in death by Paul Waters Sr., Mildred (Hesse) Waters, Paul Jr., Lisa Bonar and Rosemary Waters.

Diane was born in Clinton. She grew up in Grand Mound, Iowa. She was educated at St. Phillips and James Catholic School and Central DeWitt High School.

She resided in Iowa, Illinois, Texas, Colorado, Washington and the Yukon Territory, Canada.

She worked in many fields in her life and in the latter part, she was a caretaker to many.

Diane was a courageous and selfless person who gave her love and time to her family and each community she lived in.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Trust and Savings Bank of Dixon, Iowa.
