BETTENDORF — Dr. Deb Waddingham, 48, of Bettendorf, died Saturday, April 18, 2015. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1809 Mississippi Blvd., Bettendorf. Her family will greet friends 2 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the church, and 4-7 p.m. Friday at Weerts Funeral Home, 3625 Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. Inurnment will be in Concord Township Cemetery, Garner, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gilda’s Club of the Quad-Cities or to the American Cancer Society.
Deb was born in 1966 in Ames, Iowa, to Bill and Rosalie Waddingham. She married Dr. Joseph Urbaitis on Sept. 18, 1993, in Garner. Following her graduation from Garner-Hayfield High School, Deb was graduated from Buena Vista University before earning her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston in Texas. She later earned her MBA from St. Ambrose University. Dr. Waddingham was a managing partner with Waddingham-Urbaitis and Associates in Bettendorf. She was a former member of the Rotary Club of Bettendorf and was active in the Silver Spurs Saddle Club and the Clinton Horseman’s Society. Deb was a daily swimmer at the Family YMCA in Bettendorf and participated in competitive volleyball and softball leagues.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Joseph Urbaitis; daughter, Katee; and son, Colton, Bettendorf; her parents, Bill and Rosalie Waddingham, Garner; brother, Jay Waddingham, and his wife, Kristi, and their sons, Zachary, Tyler and Matthew, all of Hampton. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Reva and David and Dolores.
