STOCKTON, Iowa — Kyle Ralph Koberg, 23, of Stockton, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his family, after a lifelong battle with Joubert Syndrome.
Kyle was born in Iowa City on May 23, 1994, to Kevin and Marjorie (Winckler) Koberg.
Kyle graduated from Durant High School in 2013, where he played the cowbell in the band. He participated in Special Olympics and Challenger Baseball League in Davenport. He enjoyed John Deere tractors, playing on his iPad and farming with his Dad. He was a huge Toby Keith fan. Kyle had many friends and touched many people's lives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bentley Funeral Home in Durant. Please wear your favorite tractor shirt and jeans.
Funeral services will be held on 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Durant.
Inurnment will take place in the Durant Cemetery at a later date.
Kyle is survived and lovingly remembered by his parents Kevin and Marjie Koberg of Stockton, Iowa, his sisters: Tiffany (Shawn) Sheahan of Durant and Karissa Koberg of Stockton, nieces and nephew: Brooklynn, Madisynn and Lincoln, grandmothers: Bernice Koberg of Walcott and Delores Winckler of Davenport and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Kenneth Koberg and Ernest Winckler Jr.
A memorial has been established in Kyle's memory.
