FULTON, Ill. — Nicholas J. Luskey, 22, of Fulton, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at University Hospitals, Iowa City.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at First Baptist Church, Clinton. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Fecht, J.D. Fecht, Ashton Hutton, Aaron Lovell, Nick Wright and Matt Walters. Following the services, his body will be cremated. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family.

Nicholas Jordan Luskey was born March 23, 1994, in Clinton, the son of Suellina Luskey. He was a 2012 graduate of Fulton High School. He attended Northern Illinois University and Hamilton Technical College.
Nicholas was currently employed in shipping and receiving at Walmart and had been employed at Culver’s. He enjoyed playing basketball, video games, bowling and board games. He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family and friends.
Nicholas is survived by his mother, Suellina (Brent) Fecht, Fairfax, Iowa; his sister, Jessika Koenes, stepbrothers, Ryan and John Fecht, all at home; his maternal grandparents; Steve and Denise Luskey, Fulton; his “big brother” uncle, Joe (Karyn) Luskey, Fulton; and his cousins, Madyson and Claire “Bear” Luskey; and many great-aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Wilma Welch, and two aunts, Cathy Alberts and Joan Letcher.
Memorials can be made to a fund being established for his sister and cousins.
