The U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team performs at a previous Quad-City Air Show.

The Quad-City Air Show is scheduled to return in 2019, following a two-year hiatus for the popular event held for 30 years at the Davenport Municipal Airport.

It is scheduled for June 29-30, 2019 in Davenport and will feature the United States Navy Blue Angels, according to an announcement made Monday on the Quad-City Air Show's Facebook page.

Ahead of the 30th annual air show in June 2016, event president Kenneth Hopper announced the event would not take to the skies in 2017, because the city of Davenport no longer provided access to a hangar to store the show’s collection of aircrafts at the city-owned airport.

At that time, Hopper said he would consider moving the air show to another Midwest airport. The two-day event typically drew about 100,000 people.

The 2019 air show schedule was also announced earlier this week via several air-show related websites such as airshowstuff.com.

According to the Facebook post, more information will be available soon.
