When I first heard “For Greater Glory” (originally titled “Cristiada,” which I prefer) was being shot, I was stunned — and skeptical. It never could be produced by Hollywood. In fact, it wouldn’t be a theatrical release, maybe a short documentary, certainly with a small budget. On the former…

Howard Stern has not been missed since he took his smutty shtick off the airwaves and onto the unregulated Sirius satellite radio. Stern had almost vanished as an icon of pop culture. He even scaled back his radio schedule to three days a week, semi-retiring.

HBO has perhaps made Bill Maher America’s nastiest talk show host. He’s also America’s most prominent, militant atheist. Now he’s made himself the most prominent million-dollar donor to Barack Obama’s super PAC, Priorities USA. He broke out a big check onstage in San Jose to advertise his ma…

Sarah Palin’s top aides held a conference call to denounce the forthcoming HBO movie “Game Change,” which like any ultraliberal media production, knocks Palin as a mentally imbalanced moron. Reporters are already underlining the Palin aides haven’t seen the movie.

Valentine's Day is probably not the day most people would pick to remember the marriage of John and Jacqueline Kennedy. But on Feb. 14, CBS spent more than eight minutes recalling how it was the 50th anniversary of CBSs "historic" TV tour of the White House with Jackie. They brought on liber…

The photograph of Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer pointing a finger at President Barack Obama on the tarmac at the Phoenix airport brought out the worst in amateur psychoanalysis from our media elite. Freed of the fear of triggering an avalanche of applause against loaded questions, Williams and his co-moderators couldn’t bring themselves to utte…

A jury has convicted a man of first-degree murder in the 2016 slayings of six members of a Chicago family who were slaughtered in their home. Wednesday's verdict means that 28-year-old Diego Uribe Cruz will be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. During the trial, prosecutors told the jury that Uribe Cruz came to the house where members of his family lived to commit a robbery and killed everyone there _ including two young boys _ to make sure there were no witnesses. Evidence included DNA under his aunt's fingernails that prosecutors said belonged to Uribe Cruz.
