There's going to be more comedy and fewer court shows this fall on KLJB-TV.

Fox 18 is adding reruns of "The Big Bang Theory" (at 6 and 6:30 p.m.) and "30 Rock" (10:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m.), two of my favorites. As with all of the changes, they'll take place in the middle weeks of September.

The station is adding more comedy as a whole, including a new block from 7:30-11 a.m. weekdays: "Everybody Loves Chris," "According to Jim," "The New Adventures of Old Christine," two episodes of "Friends" and "Everybody Loves Raymond." It's also re-expanded its early evening comedy block, with "Two and a Half Men" at 5 p.m., followed by "How I Met Your Mother" and the two "Big Bangs."

In late night, there are four hours of comedy: "Two and a Half Men," followed by "30 Rock" in the 10 p.m. hour, "My Name is Earl" and "Everybody Loves Raymond" from 11 p.m. to midnight, followed by "How I Met Your Mother." Two episodes of "The Office" follow, then the last "30 Rock."

While comedy is in, court shows have shrunk from the current eight-hour block of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to five hours. That comes mainly from airing one episode instead of two. "Judge Alex" will be at 11 a.m., followed by "Swift Justice" (host Nancy Grace is being replaced) at 11:30 a.m. "Judge Mathis" is at noon, follwed by "Divorce Court," "Judge Joe Brown" and "People's Court."

"Family Feud," which had been on mornings on CBS4, is moving to 4 p.m. on Fox 18, followed by "Access Hollywood" at 4:30 p.m.

"Access Hollywood" had been running on KGCW, Fox 18's sister station. Shows bounce between the two channels, so if you don't see a favorite it might have switched channels.

Changes for "The Quad-Cities' CW" are upcoming in a separate blog.
