What is global warming? It's like sex education; it doesn't mean what it sounds like. Global warming doesn't mean and end to winter. Global warming means no more food. When? We don't have a date. Within your lifetime, unless you are past middle age.
Do you remember 2012? All spring, no rain. All summer, no rain. Harvest time, it rained cats and dogs. The fields were too muddy to drive a combine across. After the ground froze, the farmers could harvest the freeze-damaged grain.
In late March 2013, some of the fields in Illinois were still lakes. They couldn't be plowed. The rain averaged over 2012 was about as usual. But the rain came at the wrong time.
We call it global warming because of how the scientists discovered it. Global warming should be called the rain move. Global warming moves the time of the rain, the location of the rain, the intensity of the rain, etc. If the rain is wrong, the farmers can't farm. If the farmers can't grow crops, there are no groceries in the grocery store.
You will find no food in the grocery store someday.
