Earlier this month, I was excited to finally see some progress on tax reform in Iowa. Gov. Kim Reynolds promised tax reform during her Condition of the State last month and she’s been quick to deliver.
For years, small businesses in the Quad-Cities have suffered from high tax rates that hinder growth. Working families, middle class taxpayers and small businesses across Iowa have suffered from similar problems.
This commitment of Gov. Reynolds and Lt. Gov. Adam Gregg shows that they’re listening, and they’re committed to moving our state forward. This is the kind of leadership Iowans need now more than ever.
