Kids Wish Network’s Project Toy Drop will arrive in East Moline on Saturday with a truck of new toys, educational items, games and other necessities for children of military families and at-risk youth of East Moline.
The event, presented in coordination with the city of East Moline, starts at 1:30 p.m. with a statement from East Moline Mayor Reggie Freeman.
Local police officers, firefighters, military members, and city and county officials will distribute the donations from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Phoenix Body Solutions.
The City of East Moline will also present Kids Wish Network with a proclamation at 3:30 p.m. at the bandshell, 800 15th Ave.
