TROY, Ala. (AP) — A football player at Troy University was arrested on a charge of interfering in the search for a man accused in a shooting that injured five people during a high school football game in Mobile, authorities said.

BARNSTABLE, Mass. (AP) — A Roman Catholic high school in Massachusetts has suspended football activities pending an investigation into reports that at least one of its players directed racial slurs at opposing players during a game last weekend.
