Six Clinton batters had a hit apiece and five drove in a run as the LumberKings topped the Burlington Bees 5-0 and clinched their first playoff spot since 2016 and only their second appearance in the last nine years.

Davis Bradshaw and Thomas Jones each had RBI triples and Evan Edwards hit a solo home run in the win.

Clinton starter Alberto Guerrero (9-6) and relievers Raul Brito and Nathan Alexander combined on the shutout.

Guerrero scattered six hits and three walks over six scoreless innings.
