The Class 1A second-ranked Braves advanced to the semifinals of the Lincoln Trail Conference tournament with a 63-51 win over Ridgewood. Annawan had four players tally double figures, led by Owen Landwehr's 22 points.

State ranked for the first time this season, the Indians went into Thursday's game riding a 10-game win streak. Wapello is among the state's top 10 in scoring (73.9 ppg), field goal percentage (53.6) and 3-point shooting (42.1).

3. Mercer County (19-4, LW: 4)

Winners of nine straight, Mercer County advanced to the Lincoln Trail Conference tournament semifinals with an 84-74 win over ROWVA. Rashaun King averages 14.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.5 steals per game.

4. Camanche (14-5, LW: 5)

Cameron Soenksen poured in 20 points while Dev Patel filled the stat sheet again as Camanche used a big second half to rout Northeast, 71-47. Patel, among the state's assist leaders, also is the Indians' leading rebounder.

5. Northeast (15-4, LW: 2)

Coach Travis Eversmeyer's team has hit a speed bump with three consecutive losses. They've struggled on the offensive end recently, averaging 45.5 points per game in that span and shooting just 5 of 34 from beyond the arc.
