1. Moline (6-1, LW: 1)

The Maroons rolled to their fifth straight win, rolling up 551 yards of total offense while defeating arch-rival Rock Island 45-26. They now face a showdown with Quincy, which also has won five straight. A victory would give Moline its second consecutive Western Big Six title.

This week: at Quincy (6-1)

2. Bettendorf (6-1, LW: 2)

Carter Bell completed six passes for a season-high 193 yards in the Bulldogs' 41-14 win over Cedar Rapids Kennedy. Bettendorf came up with three turnovers and blocked a punt to score 38 straight points in the game. Sophomore Griffin Liddle had a season-high eight tackles.

This week: at Davenport West (2-5)

3. North Scott (6-1, LW: 3)

The Lancers are averaging almost 39 points per game in three district contests. Tailback Jacob Porth went over 100 yards rushing for the second time this year in North Scott's 37-7 win over Clinton. Coach Kevin Tippet's team gears up for a Clear Creek-Amana defense which is yielding a meager 5.2 points per game.

This week: at Clear Creek-Amana (7-0)

4. Pleasant Valley (3-4, LW: NR)

Quarterback Max Slavens has seven rushing touchdowns, three passing scores and a 100-yard interception return for a touchdown in the last two weeks. If PV can beat North and Linn-Mar at home in the final two weeks, it could possibly earn an at-large bid to the playoffs.

This week: vs. Davenport North (5-2)

5. Rock Island (3-4, LW: 4)

The Rocks produced some big plays Saturday against Moline, including a 93-yard kickoff return and an 89-yard pass, but they still went down to a 45-26 defeat. They need victories in their last two games, against United Township and Peoria Richwoods, to have a chance at making the playoffs.

This week: vs. United Township (1-6)
