Burke recorded the maximum four victories at Saturday's district swim meet in Clinton. He beat defending state champion Caleb Aman in the 100 backstroke, swam a personal-best 21.49 seconds in winning the 50 freestyle along with participating on the victorious 200 medley and 400 free relays.

Sport: Girls bowling
For the second consecutive week, Stoutt bowled a 290. After a first-frame spare, she rolled 11 straight strikes in the Rock Island regional meet at Q-C Family Entertainment Center. Stoutt finished with a career-best 703 (three-game series) and 1,394 (six games) to be crowned regional champion.
Sport: Boys basketball
The Iowa signee averaged 48.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in wins over Davenport Central and Bettendorf. Wieskamp had Muscatine's first 31 points, knocked down a season-high eight 3-pointers and finished with a career-high 54 points against the Bulldogs. He was 32 of 34 at the foul line for the week.

Last week: claimed Lincoln Trail Conference tournament
The second-ranked team in Illinois Class 1A repeated as conference tournament champions Saturday with a 54-37 win over Wethersfield. Point guard Owen Landwehr finished with 20 points and 14 rebounds as the Braves extended their win streak to a dozen games. Jacob Wolf contributed 13 points and Brendon shaw chipped in 11 for Annawan (23-2).
Last week: Won Class 1A regional at Rockridge
Eight years removed from its last regional crown, Erie-Prophetstown ended that drought with a three-point win over Mercer County on Saturday in the 1A regional. E-P advanced nine wrestlers to sectionals, including regional champion and senior Garrett Passmore (44-0 on season). Coach Tod McCullough's team won four of its five third-place matches to secure title.

The Beavers advanced 10 wrestlers to this weekend's district tournament in capturing the Class 1A sectional meet in Mediapolis. Reid Johnson (126 pounds), Trey Brisker (152) and Cameron Reddick (195) won titles while Coy Baker (170) and John Rife (182) had falls in wrestleback matches to move on. Wilton advanced to the regional team competition with its victory.
