The Orion-Sherrard boys' soccer team enjoyed a historic season in 2022, going 21-4-3 to set a single-season victory record and winning its first IHSA regional championship. The O-S United co-op had four of its players earn All-Three Rivers Conference honors, with seniors Alyus Johnson and Cole Kimball both unanimous first-team picks.

Combs scored twice to help the Maple Leafs (10-7-1) finish 6-1 and earn a share of the Western Big 6 title with Moline and Quincy.
