Credentials: Selected first team all-Big Six, Tapia wrestled at 113 for dual meets but dropped down to 106 in the postseason. He claimed a regional title and was an Illinois Class 3A state qualifier. 

113: Billy Taylor

School: Alleman

Year: Freshman

Record: 41-8

Credentials: Captured an Illinois Class 1A regional title, was fourth at sectionals and qualified for the state tournament. He was second on the team in victories and collected more than 25 falls.

120: Michael Meyers

School: Rock Island

Year: Junior

Record: 27-7

Credentials: First team all-Big Six selection, Meyers wrestled up at 126 for regionals and placed fourth to reach Alton sectional. He was third on the team in victories.

126: Caleb McCabe

School: North Scott

Year: Junior

Record: 39-6

Credentials: The MAC champion and team leader in wins prevailed at districts and placed fourth at the Class 3A state tournament. He concluded the year with 23 pins and four technical falls. 

132: Eli Loyd

School: Pleasant Valley

Year: Sophomore

Record: 51-7

Credentials: Already with 100 career victories, Loyd was the Class 3A state runner-up. He won weekend titles at Sterling, the MAC tournament and districts. Four of his seven defeats were to state champions.

138: Will Jefferson

School: Bettendorf

Year: Junior

Record: 43-7

Credentials: Started the season at 145, but dropped down a weight after the holiday break. He recorded a Midwest Shootout title, MAC championship, district crown and finished seventh at Class 3A state tournament. 

145: Mason Morris

School: Bettendorf

Year: Senior

Record: 41-8

Credentials: Earned his second state medal with a fifth-place finish in Class 3A. He also pocketed MAC and district championships along with eclipsing 100 career wins after placing at Kansas City Stampede.

152: Jayden Terronez

School: Moline

Year: Junior

Record: 39-8

Credentials: Named the Most Outstanding Wrestler for Illinois at the Muddy Water Duals, Terronez was first team all-Big Six, second at regionals, runner-up at sectionals and a Class 3A state qualifier. 

160: Jake Matthaidess

School: North Scott

Year: Sophomore

Record: 38-7

Credentials: Cruised to a MAC title with two falls and a major decision along with placing second at districts and advancing to Class 3A state tournament. Ranked third in state at his weight class, he had 23 pins. 

170: Levon Bellemy

School: Davenport Central

Year: Junior

Record: 35-5

Credentials: After not wrestling as a sophomore, Bellemy returned and had immediate success. He won a MAC title, took first at districts and placed seventh at 3A state tournament as team's lone qualifier.

182: Julien Broderson (captain)

School: Davenport Assumption

Year: Junior

Record: 39-0

Credentials: Was the only wrestler in the Q-C metro to finish with a perfect season. He had only two matches go the full six minutes, and he pinned his opponent in the state final for his second Class 2A state championship.

195: Hunter Henning

School: Moline

Year: Senior

Record: 35-8

Credentials: Claimed Illinois Class 3A regional and sectional titles to reach the state tournament. In Alton sectional, the all-Big Six selection had two technical falls and a pin to dominate his weight class.

220: Zach Petersen

School: North Scott

Year: Senior

Record: 38-9

Credentials: Iowa State football recruit had a late-season surge. After his loss in the MAC finals, he responded with 11 wins in his last 12 bouts to place third at 3A state tournament, the team's best individual finisher.

285: Griffin Liddle

School: Bettendorf

Year: Freshman

Record: 42-17

Credentials: Already with football offers from Iowa and Iowa State, Liddle had a banner freshman season. Just 14 years old in the largest weight class, he was second at MAC, second at districts and took fifth at 3A state meet.

Year: Senior

Record: 49-4

Credentials: Team leader in wins, sectional and district champion became just the third wrestler in Assumption's program to claim multiple state titles in a Knights singlet. He'll continue his career at Grand View University.

Credentials: Just one of two wrestlers in Q-C metro to accumulate 50 wins this season, the all-Big Six selection placed fourth at 1A state tournament following a third-place finish at sectionals.
