Both Olivia Moore and Sam Russell took advantage of their handicapped start ahead of the pack to win the Russell Break The Tape competition at Saturday's Quad-City Times Bix 7 road race in Davenport. 

Bettendorf's Devin and Kelsey Allbaugh won the Greg Newell and Eloise Caldwell awards, respectively, as the fastest male and female Quad-Citians in Saturday's Quad-City Times Bix 7.

Fiona O’Keeffe won the women’s elite division at the 48th running of the Bix 7, crossing the finish line in 35 minutes, 59 seconds, a Bix 7 record for an American runner and the sixth-fastest time ever for a female in the race’s history.

Former Augustana College runner Brian Lovejoy had a successful debut in Saturday morning’s Prairie Farms Quick Bix, running the 2-mile course in 10 minutes, 55 seconds to win the event.
