Another one bites the dust. This morning, one of Davenport's notorious truck-eating bridges claimed another victim. This time it was the Government Bridge which spans the Mississippi River and connects Davenport with Arsenal Island.

A semi truck got stuck under the Government Bridge just before 4 p.m. on Friday, stopping Illinois-bound traffic.

A tow truck is on its way and officials will decide whether to let the air out of the semi's tires or pull it out another way.

As of 5:45 p.m., the truck remained in place.

Drivers are advised to take an alternative route.
