In just eight years, The Cities Private Wealth Group has grown from a three-person team into a thriving 13-member firm — a remarkable expansion driven largely by client referrals and word‑of‑mouth recommendations.
This momentum stems from the firm's holistic approach, which blends financial expertise with a deep understanding of clients’ personal values and long‑term goals.
This month, The Cities Private Wealth Group announced two major milestones. They have officially opened a spacious new office at 3467 Forest Grove Drive in Bettendorf, and they are now affiliated with the nationally respected financial firm Raymond James — a partnership that brings clients expanded resources and enhanced capabilities.
“We’re not changing as a team. We are still the same trusted service,” said Courtney O’Connor, director of marketing for The Cities Private Wealth Group. “But our new office is in a great location and has so many features that enhance the client experience.”
A new office designed with clients in mind
The new location, situated at the corner of Forest Grove Drive and Devil’s Glen Road, was designed to support both current needs and future growth. The office includes 14 private offices, an open work area and several meeting spaces — including a spacious conference room.
“The conference room is ideal for multigenerational planning and for meetings that include outside partners such as CPAs and attorneys,” said David Poole, financial advisor and faith-based strategist at The Cities Private Wealth Group. “It gives us the ability to bring everyone together in one collaborative space.”
The room is fully equipped with advanced technology, including ceiling speakers for clear audio and two large‑screen TVs that support hybrid meetings for remote participants.
The office is also conveniently nestled between two local favorites — Whitey’s Ice Cream and Hungry Hobo — making visits easy and familiar for local families.
A grand opening celebration is planned for late spring or early summer. The team is excited to host an event to welcome clients and community members into the new space.
Award‑winning, personalized service
The Cities Private Wealth Group has been named to the Forbes Best‑in‑State list every year since 2023. This year, financial advisor Samantha Fournier, CFP®, APMA®, was also recognized as a Best‑in‑State Woman Advisor.
“Being recognized as a Forbes 2026 Best‑in‑State Woman Wealth Advisor is an incredible honor,” Fournier said. “It reflects the dedication of our entire team and the trust our clients place in us every day. We’re grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the families we serve.”
What sets The Cities Private Wealth Group apart is their personalized, relationship‑centered philosophy. Their advisors invest time in understanding each client’s goals, values and family dynamics. From investment management and retirement planning to estate considerations and collaboration with outside professionals, they deliver coordinated guidance through every stage of life.
This approach also extends to clients seeking faith‑aligned planning. Financial advisor David Poole, CFP®, AAMS®, CKA®, is a Certified Kingdom Advisor — his mission is to preserve clients’ wealth while guiding them toward long-term success rooted in faith and stewardship.
At the heart of the firm's mission is a simple guiding principle: empowering individuals to live a more meaningful life. Their holistic perspective goes far beyond traditional wealth accumulation.
“We’re deeply committed to building strong, trusting relationships with our clients and within the community,” said John Pavelka, owner and private wealth advisor. “Our new location gives us the space and resources to further elevate that client experience.”
